Jetty Hurricane Sandy Relief T-Shirt

Many of our Elite Daily readers are residents of the tri-state area, and were therefore affected, in at least some way, by Hurricane Sandy. Unfortunately, some were more affected than others.

New York City and it’s boroughs were no doubt hit hard by the Hurricane, but as the storm hit landfall in New Jersey, the damage to the Jersey Shore is unsettling. Neighborhoods I have frequented since my youth are almost unrecognizable and it’s unbelievable to see piles of debris stacked up outside of residents’ destroyed homes.

As a lifelong New Jersey resident, I can honestly say that the devastation from this storm has affected me in a way I never thought it would. Yes, I love New York City, but my heart will always be in New Jersey. I grew up going to the Jersey Shore (the real shore, not the shore that was poorly portrayed in an MTV show) and some of my greatest memories are being on the beach or in the bay with my best friends in the summer time. To see almost all of it gone or damaged is heartbreaking.

So that’s why I was so excited when the Jersey based company, Jetty, immediately put together a featured product to help the victims of the Jersey shore. Jetty has designed a relief t-shirt which will “allow us to UNITE & REBUILD”. Profits from the sales of this shirt will go directly to the victims of Hurricane Sandy in need of assistance and to the emergency response units who have been risking their lives to save others.

Pre-orders for this shirt are currently being accepted now through Friday, November 16th. After that date, the shirts will be printed and delivered. Please make this small contribution to a greater cause. Order your Hurricane Sandy Relief T-Shirt here!
