Gotta Catch 'Em All: There Is A Smartphone Pokémon Game In The Works

We can all agree on one thing: Pokémon was one of the top five best things about our childhoods.

When holiday time came around, you were either asking for the latest Nintendo Game Boy device and the latest Pokémon game, or, if you already had a Game Boy, you were just looking to update your existing Pokémon game collection.

Either way, the hype around new Pokémon games was equivalent to the hype around a pair of Yeezy Boosts in 2015.

But now those years have come and gone, what's next for Pokémon?

Well, according to the official website for the series, a mobile smartphone game comes in 2016!

The mobile game for iPhone and Android devices is called Pokémon GO. It allows users to search "far and wide in the real world to discover Pokémon," according to the game's description.

The game's website reads,

Pokémon GO's gameplay experience goes beyond what appears on screen, as players explore their neighborhoods, communities, and the world they live in to discover Pokémon alongside friends and other players.
