This Robot Modeled After Scarlett Johansson Is The Creepiest Thing Ever

One 42-year-old man has constructed a robot that looks like Scarlett Johansson, and it's exactly as creepy as it sounds. According to Metro, Ricky Ma -- who currently lives in Hong Kong -- spent over $50,000 and nearly two years building his female robot prototype, Mark 1.

With a 3D-printed skeleton lying beneath its silicone skin, the robot looks eerily human. If you tell the robot it looks beautiful, it (she?) replies, "Hehe, thank you."

Ricky told the Mirror he went to all the trouble of building a Scarlett Johansson lookalike because he simply likes robots. In the interview, he focused less the celebrity stalker factor and more on his childhood dreams, saying,

I figured I should just do it when the timing is right and realize my dream. If I realize my dream, I will have no regrets in life.
