THE SECRET IS OUT, PANERA! YOUR DAYS AS THE SOLE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE SECRET GUARDIANS ARE OVER!

Panera is great. Who doesn't love a place where you can eat mac n' cheese out of a bread bowl? Twice the carbs in half the separate meals? Sign me up!

The thing is, you can technically make that at home. Everyone knows how to make mac n' cheese, and everyone knows how to carve out a bowl from a stale roll. It doesn't take a scientist to mix the two together.

Where Panera really gets you is the cookies. Panera somehow have figured out a way to perfect its signature Chocky-ChiCooks (or as everybody but me calls them “Chocolate Chip Cookies”), and it's frustrating as hell because the recipe is UNDUPLICATABLE!

LORD KNOWS WE'VE ALL TRIED!

Somehow, Delish's Candace Braun Davison figured it out.

The full recipe can be found here, but here are three major bullet points:

  1. Use a sh*t ton of mini semi-sweet chips.
  2. Harness your inner Paula Deen and throw two sticks of butter in there.
  3. 3.5 cups of flour. Any more or any less and you will potentially ruin the batch and your kids' lives.

WHO ARE THE DUMB ONES NOW, PANERA?!?!?!?!? WE OWN YOU!!!
