This Incredible Makeup Artist Paints Tiny Masterpieces On Her Eyelids

by Kaylin Pound

If you ever tried to mimic an eye makeup tutorial on YouTube, you probably know painting on the perfect winged liner is a lot more frustrating and time-consuming than meets the eye.

Literally.

Therefore, I can't even imagine how hard it would be to replicate some of the shadowy eyescapes created by Georgina Ryland.

Ryland is an award-winning makeup artist from Brisbane, Australia who recently set out to take her eye makeup to the next level by decking her lids out in all sorts of dreamy scenes and amazing designs.

That's right. Using some simple paint, eyeshadow, lipstick and a few tiny brushes, Ryland transforms her own eyes into a variety of masterpieces inspired by everything from classic paintings to fast food.

In a post on BoredPanda, Ryland said,

Each paint is quite short (usually shy of an hour) in comparison to my regular body paints (upwards of 4 hours) so I have a lot of freedom to play around. I paint in shape and line rather than sketching them out and I try to create challenges for myself every time.

She posts all of her mesmerizing makeup on her Instagram account, and I have to say, once you see some of these eye-opening creations, you'll feel really bad about the fact you can't even master a simple smokey eye.

Take a look at the pictures to see Ryland's incredible makeup.
