Artist Creates Hilarious Illustrations To Break Down Stereotypes About Dogs

Every now and then, we're all guilty of wrongfully stereotyping others.

It's simply human nature to assume nerds love math and basic bitches just literally can't even survive without their Uggs and PSLs.

But if you thought people were the only ones who had to deal with stereotypes, think again.

Apparently, man's furry BFF is no stranger to the struggles of being stereotyped, either.

Recently, talented artist Laura Palumbo teamed up with BarkPost to create a series of illustrations of "honest" slogans that highlight some of the reputations associated with various dog breeds.

Palumbo told Bored Panda,

Many people I know say they would like to have a dog, but they exclude Dobermanns, Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, and so many other breeds from the start, because there's still a belief that they are too aggressive. I think it's true that every breed has different traits but with correct education, every dog can be suitable with kids. I believe that dogs are what their humans are.

This clever series pokes fun at everything from fearless little chihuahuas and howling huskies to corgis with some serious junk in the trunk, and it's not hard to see these hilarious hound slogans are pretty spot on.

Take a look at the pictures below to see these comical canine illustrations.

I like corgi butts and I cannot lie.

Ask me about my wiener.

They don't call us golden for nothing.

I was a mutt before being a hybrid hound was even cool.

No more beef jerky treats for you.

Same stank, different accent.

I'll take a chocolate pup, please.

Now that you're finally asleep, let me serenade you with some howling songs.

Barkpost

Careful, I might just lick you to death.

I think we need to settle this with a puppy paternity test.

Who needs a pony when you have one of these pups?
