This High-Speed Train Will Get You From LA To Vegas In Just 80 Minutes

by Robert Anthony

If you ever went to Vegas, you know it's nearly impossible to last 48 hours without making a couple of highly regrettable decisions.

Those decisions are usually made due to the ridiculous amounts of alcohol you consume.

In fact, the decisions I speak of are usually so regrettable you wish you could leave Sin City a lot sooner than you initially anticipated.

What if we told you a Chinese company called China Railway International Group agreed to work with American company XpressWest to build a high-speed train connecting Las Vegas and Los Angeles?

Well, it's happening. Get your liver ready.

This means you'll be able to commit sins in Vegas for a couple of hours and then return to the City of Angels before things get too crazy. We'll never forget the outcome of "The Hangover." What a mess!

According to Mashable, construction for this high-speed train is supposed to begin in September 2016. The transportation project will also be backed by a $100 million investment.

The train will be able to reach a top speed of about 150 miles per hour and transport passengers between the two major cities in about 80 minutes.

In addition to being lightning-fast, the train will also feature entertainment club cars, allowing riders to utilize WiFi and indulge in quality food and drinks.

Despite Las Vegas and Los Angeles being both the start and end points, the train will make stops in other cities including Victorville and Palmdale, California.

So, it looks like our dreams of instant access to Vegas from LA are finally coming true in 2016.

Until then, we'll just have to keep the party going at one of the biggest nightclubs in the world.
