If you're trying to watch your waistline, the last thing you want to do is suck down half of the day's calories in a single coffee order.

Yep, those foamy lattes and blended beverages actually have a lot more calories than you might think, so if you're not careful, those seemingly innocent sips can really sneak up on you.

But, don't worry, you don't have to go cold turkey on your coffee addiction just yet.

Starbucks recently shared some tips with us on how to lighten up beverages, so you can enjoy your favorite sips without sabotaging your bikini bod.

You can get your caffeine fix with an unsweetened coffee or tea, which usually contains fewer than 10 calories, or if you're craving a little flavor, you can reduce your amount of calories by opting for fewer pumps and swapping out the regular syrup for some sugar-free flavor shots.

If you happen to be a latte lover like myself, you can switch out your regular Vanilla Latte for a "skinny" version that will only cost you 60 calories for a size tall, or if you happen to be a frappuccino fanatic, you can also order a "light" rendition of your favorite frosty beverage that's made with sugar-free syrup, nonfat milk and no whip to keep the calories down.

Now, I know what you're thinking, and yes, that delectable mountain of whipped cream is usually my favorite part, too.

But asking for just a little or no whip can actually save you between 80 and 110 calories, and let's be real, nothing tastes as good as skinny feels. Not even whip cream.
