When it comes to baking cakes, everyone knows that the batter is the best part. Why else would everyone fight over who gets to lick the spoon?
But if you thought the greatest thing to happen to your beloved funfetti was having it transformed into an epic ice cream flavor, you've clearly never seen cake batter transformed into a decadent deep-fried dessert.
That's right, deep-fried cake batter is here, and it's downright delicious.
Created by OhBiteIt!, these tasty treats have a crisp, delicate outside shell that conceals a gooey, mouthwatering cake batter center.
The best part is, you can now eat cake batter with your hands and not look like a complete barbarian.
To make these bad boys, you'll need a box of funfetti cake mix, 1 cup of all purpose flour and canola oil for frying, along with some frosting for dipping and some extra sprinkles for good measure.
Then all you have to do is make the cake batter according to the directions on the box and add in the extra cup of flour. Then scoop out batter 1 tablespoon at a time and drop it into the hot oil until they're fried to crispy golden perfection.
After they cool, top them with some sprinkles or dunk them in frosting, and you're good to go.
With these portable little balls of cake batter, you can stuff your face with all the funfetti your heart desires without having to carry around that big heavy bowl of batter.
