This Artist Creates Amazing Illustrations Of Luxury Watches By Hand

by Robert Anthony

Art comes in many different shapes, forms and sizes.

Whether you're a food artist using Rice Krispies to recreate everyday items or you're a skilled makeup artist using your unparalleled illustration skills to transform yourself into cartoon characters on Instagram, the possibilities are endless.

Take Marcus B. Williams, for example. The Florida-based horological artist has been creating quite a buzz in both the watchmaking and art industries.

Williams perfected the art of sketching some of the most expensive, unobtainable luxury watches in the world.

You can be a fan of luxury timepieces or you can simply be appreciative of hand-sketched fine art; regardless, the artist's drawings will make you stop and stare in pure amazement.

His website states,

[Marcus’] originals can be found anywhere from above the desks of corporate leaders to the most elite of Art Basel parties.

If you've ever attempted to doodle across a sheet of notebook paper, you know it's easier said than done. Williams, however, makes it look way too easy. But keep in mind, his pictures shouldn't be compared to doodles.

These are masterpieces depicting the most "complicated of [tourbillon] movement."

The artist revealed to Elite Daily,

My creations are bespoke representations of high level luxury timepieces and mostly one of a kind pieces for collectors of the actual watches.

After purchasing a custom Audemars Piguet or Jacob & Co timepiece, there's only one thing left to do: Hand it over to Williams and watch the true beauty come from the drawing paper and the black ink.
