In this video from Mode, you can see how the style of engagement rings evolved from the 1910s all the way up to now. The 1920s rings look classy AF, and a ring from the 1930s looks like it could take a good chunk out of someone's face if you got in a fight.
They all have one thing in common, though: diamonds. I guess they really are a girl's best friend. I mean, let's be real, a diamond would never flake on brunch plans three weeks in a row.
Personally, I have my eye on that 1950s model. Not that I'm anywhere close to getting one. Am I right, single ladies?
