There's Going To Be A New TV Show About Selena Gomez's Life

If you haven't heard, Selena Gomez was officially crowned the "Queen of Instagram," meaning she's the most followed person on the social media platform.

Yup, you heard that right. Selena beat out everyone from Kim K and Kylie to BFF Taylor Swift. She currently has 75.6 million followers, and that number is only increasing. What I'm trying to say is Selena is one popular pop star.

That's why it really isn't too surprising Lifetime plans to create a TV show inspired by her life.

The official announcement was made during the network's upfront presentation.

All we know so far is the drama will focus on Selena's personal life and her experience as a young woman in Hollywood. It apparently will be told from the perspective of her friends, so that will definitely make things interesting.

Furthermore, the show will be written similarly to "Entourage," so that's exciting news.

Unfortunately, Selena won't be starring in the film since it'll focus on her earlier years as an actress, but we'll still get an inside look into where she got her start.

It's unclear when the show is set to air, but I can't wait to learn more about one of Hollywood's biggest stars.
