JK Rowling loves her characters equally. They're like her children; there's no way she could pick a favorite.

Kidding! She totally has favorites. One, in particular, actually, which she shared on Twitter on Monday.

While answering a few questions about the new "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" trailer, Jo revealed which "Harry Potter" character truly owns her heart. Besides Harry Potter, that is.

(Side note: We all saw the amazing new trailer for "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," right? If not, go watch it right now.)

Turns out, it's a certain old, bearded, moon-shaped-spectacle wearing headmaster.

It's... DUMBLEDORE!

Yep, good ol' Albus Dumbledore is Queen JK's fav, apparently.

So it totally makes sense Dumbledore seems to play an important role in the upcoming "Fantastic Beasts" film.

Jo also explained Dumbledore's connection to Newt Scamander. Apparently, Dumbledore was a young teacher when Newt got expelled from Hogwarts, a fact we learned from the latest trailer.

Jo also got kind of cheeky with this answer to a fan as to why Dumbledore likes Newt Scamander so much.

What do you expect, people? She's not about to spoil the movie before it even comes out!

There's been no mention of Dumbledore's character actually being in the film, but I'm really hoping for a surprise appearance from the future headmaster. I'm just saying, Colin Firth would make a great young Albus.
