New 'Gilmore Girls' Photo Gives Us A Huge Clue About Rory's Life

We are now a mere 10 days away from learning all the secrets of "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life," but there's still plenty of speculating to get done.

Especially if Netflix is going to continue teasing us with these clue-laden photos they keep posting on Instagram.

Today's clue is a snapshot of Rory's old room in Lorelai's house. That's definitely Rory's — I'd recognize that dresser anywhere I had internet access to Google it.

And, would you look at that! It's a weirdly photoshopped cardboard box with Rory's name on it!

(Seriously, what is it with Netflix and photoshop? Remember those posters? Netflix, do you guys need me to send you some recs of graphic designers I know? They can help you with this stuff.)

But the point is, Rory, who by the time of the revival is 32 years old, has got boxes back in her old room. It seems pretty likely she's moving back in with Lorelai (who is now 48).

We already know from the trailer Rory is at a crossroads in her life. She tells Jess (!!!),

I have no job, I have no credit, I have no underwear!

This explains the poorly Photoshopped label, "Underwear?" on the box as well.

So, it's safe to assume this photo is telling us Rory and Lorelai will be living together again in the revival — but are there any other clues we can get from it?

Well, some fans took notice of the green bag sitting on the floor next to the boxes.

Does that look familiar to anyone? Perhaps, maybe, the bag of a certain boy who takes the bus to NYC all by himself?

Maybe...  JESS IS STAYING WITH RORY?!

It's a nice thought for all my fellow Jess fans out there, but unfortunately, it doesn't really look like the same bag to me. Take a look:

Jess, being the legit bad boy that he is, has a straight-forward army bag: no trim, extra pockets or anything. Just a big sack to throw your stuff into without sorting it -- like a real man does.

The bag in Rory's room looks more like a backpack than anything.

Oh well. That doesn't mean Team Jess should give up yet — not when Milo Ventimiglia is looking so fine these days.

“Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” will begin streaming on Netflix on November 25.
