Attention 'Gilmore Girls' Fans: Stars Hollow Is Coming To California

If you're a "Gilmore Girls" fan who lives in California, I have good news for you: Stars Hollow is coming to your state.

OK, fine, yes, technically Stars Hollow has always been in California... because it's a set on a lot in LA.

But now there's a way for you to get the true spirit of the small, fictional town in Connecticut without paying $60 to go on a Warner Bros. tour.

As the release of the Netflix revival, "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" (November 25!), gets closer and closer, I think we all need an outlet for our fangirling.

And this upcoming "Gilmore Girls" festival in Los Angeles at UCLA is the perfect place for that.

It's called "The Festival of the Four Seasons," a nod to the four 90-minute episodes of the series revival, each of which is named after a different season of the year.

Town of Stars Hollow

The festival poster promises all kinds of Stars Hollow-isms for attendees: Luke's coffee, Kim's antiques, the gazebo, Taylor's soda shoppe, Miss Patty's Founder's Day punch, Kirk's Button Emporium and "appearances by real Stars Hollow citizens."

I can only assume this means there will be some dedicated "Gilmore Girls" cosplayers in attendance.

The festival takes place all day this Saturday and Sunday, November 19 and 20, from 12 pm to 6 pm at UCLA's Dickson Court.

And here's the best part of all: It's totally free to attend!

Of course, this is not the first "Gilmore Girls" festival to crop up amid revival hype this year.

Last month yours truly got to go to a fan festival that took place in the very same town in Connecticut that inspired Amy Sherman-Palladino to create the show. It was a pretty magical experience.

This festival, being free, is bound to be a popular event, so make sure you RSVP online. It's not clear what the festival's cap will be, but the poster warns that entry is not guaranteed for all.
