'Ghostbusters' Is Leading To Searches For Porn You Didn't Even Know Existed

I haven't seen "Ghostbusters" yet, so I promise I won't spoil anything here about the movie. But I will spoil this fun fact for you: Since the release of the movie, searches for "ghost porn" on PornHub have dramatically increased, specifically by 178 percent. That's a lot of people looking for spooky sex!

Personally, I've never watched a movie and then went straight to the internet to find relative porn, but I guess it's a thing people do. I mean, Chris Hemsworth is in "Ghostbusters"... and he's incredibly hot. So if I'm feeling it after watching "Ghostbusters," you know I'm not going to be looking for ghost porn. But that's just me.

PornHub created this report by gathering data from Google Analytics. According to the report, there's a specific type of person who searches for ghost porn. Apparently, more women between the ages of 18 and 24 are searching for this genre compared to dudes and other age groups.

Interestingly enough, PornHub found that people who look for ghost porn are into horror, family, sci-fi and fantasy movies.

There's actually a specific name for the fetish of being aroused by ghosts called Spectrophilia. Who knew? Some of the most popular searches on PornHub for ghost porn are: “ghost," "ghost girl," "ghost sex" and "Ghostbusters."

Also, probably not to your surprise, "Casper" made it onto that list. Uh, too each his or her own I guess. I never found Casper attractive in terms of crappy CGI characters of the early '90s.

I'm not one to judge people on their porn practices, so I guess I should probably go watch "Ghostbusters" to see if it gets me in the mood for spooky-ass ghost porn. I seriously don't think I'd be able to enjoy ghost porn -- I'd either be laughing too much or maybe just scared shitless.
