New 'Game Of Thrones' Theory Based On Leak Might Confirm Dragon Riders

Another day, another new "Game of Thrones" theory, but this one has some serious potential.

If you're all caught up through season six, you know Daenerys is on her way across the Narrow Sea with the goal of taking over the Iron Throne, while Jon Snow has just been named King in the North.

Oh, and we also saw a vision of Jon Snow's mother, Lyanna Stark, giving birth to him. Presumably his father, then, is none other than Rhaegar Targaryen.

With some recent leaks, (SPOILER ALERT) we know that Jon and Dany are going to cross paths this season, which fans have been waiting to happen for years. But there's something else at play here, and for that, we turn to the books.

The short of it goes like this. Back in Qarth at the House of the Undying, Daenerys has a handful of visions. In one of these visions, a man we take to be Rhaegar, her older brother, states, "The dragon has three heads."

Most fans interpret this as meaning each dragon gets its own rider. So, Daenerys gets Drogon, but who will be the ones to ride Rhaegal and Viserion?

There are several theories surrounding this prophecy, but the leading candidates tend to include either Jon Snow, Tyrion Lannister and Bran Stark.

But one Redditor's supposed leak brings a new candidate to the forefront.

User awayforthelads gave a detailed account of season seven, and in one scene, the Redditor claimed the Night's King — you know, leader of the White Walkers — will slay Viserion, only to revive him as an undead ice dragon for his own bidding.

Uh oh. This could be bad news for Dany and co.

Is it possible one of the "three heads" could be the Night's King? Knowing how George R. R. Martin likes to twist things, this doesn't seem too far-fetched.

And now I'm nervous.
