The Emison Baby Is Here On 'PLL' And There's Another Major Twist

We couldn't get through the first 10 minutes of the Pretty Little Liars finale before the first surprise of the show was handed to us on a high chair... literally.

It turns out there was something we didn't know about Ali's pregnancy — besides the father. Ali and Emily had twin baby girls named Lily and Grace.

That's right. What we thought was one forced baby actually morphed into two while Alison was baking that bun in the oven.

I'm just glad that both Alison and Emily were on board and excited about the babies, because the double surprise might have been a little more sinister otherwise. Instead, Emily is spoon-feeding the babies with the biggest, Emily-est grin on her face while Alison looks on lovingly.

Sigh. The Pretty Little Liars writers knew exactly what they were doing.

Twitter Is Justifiably Going Insane

Pair this twin news with the fact that Ali's mother, Jessica DiLaurentis, was a twin and you've got some really interesting family dynamics there.

It was revealed that Spencer also has a twin, so we can accurately conclude that the DiLaurentis/Drake family has some strong genes Rosewood is a much stranger town than we thought.

But There Was Still One Very Important Question That Needed An Answer

Who exactly is the father of these twins!?

Of course, this gorgeous LGBTQ+ family is a beautiful, beautiful thing. And yes, I'm rooting for Emison all the way.

But Alison was worried that her children were fathered by Archer, understandably out of fear that they've picked up some of his negative vibes. But what if the father is actually Lucas, according to the above Twitter theory? Will he want the twins back and cause more drama?

Luckily, none of that happened. It turns out that Wren is the father of the twins, as Spencer's evil twin Alex Drake (yup, PLL went there) used his sperm to impregnate Ali. She also killed Wren, so he won't be coming after the babies anytime soon.

The girls have been through enough, so even though Wren didn't make it out alive, I'm just glad the Emison family is completely safe.
