Most of us grew up with monthly Disney Channel Original Movies to teach us about our complicated feelings and changing bodies as they related to mermen, leprechauns, high-stakes sports competitions, unlikely fame and every other classic teenage dilemma.
This Friday, the Disney Channel celebrates 100 Original Movies (technically) with the release of "Adventures In Babysitting," a DCOM inspired by the 1987 masterpiece of the same name (negating the "original" quality of it all, but who isn't looking for an excuse to celebrate at any given moment?).
In honor of this (technical) achievement, Oh My Disney compiled a montage of "100 Disney Channel Original Movies in 100 Seconds," creating a nostalgic glimpse back on movies like "Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century," "Halloweentown," "Brink," "High School Musical" and "Camp Rock."
A slew of stars whose fame and success continued beyond their Disney days make appearances in the supercut and some are more surprising than others.
Mischa Barton of Fox's "The O.C."
Emmy Rossum of Showtime's "Shameless"
Hayden Panettiere of ABC's "Nashville"
Bobby Flay of the endless list of cooking shows featuring and titled after Bobby Flay.
He was throwing Disney a bone on this one.
America Ferrera of NBC's "Superstore"
Brie Larson of "Room" and the etchings on her own freaking Academy Award for Best Actress.
Heyyy Beverly Mitchell...um...sup?
Demi Lovato's Crazy Laugh
It has enjoyed a long and fruitful career.
Taran Killam of "Saturday Night Live"
Jordan Cahill 4eva <3
All the damn Mowrys
Tia, Tamera, Tahj, their dog, at some point, probably, etc.
In anticipation of the June 24 premiere of "Adventures In Babysitting," enjoy this sweet, groovy throwback from "Stuck In The Suburbs."
Feel free to shed an appreciative tear.
