'Deadliest Catch' Star Elliott Neese Decides Not To Return To Show

by Colby Eis

Elliot Neese who stars on the hit TV show "Deadliest Catch" on Discovery has decided not to return to the show this year as he was missing from the premiere.

Elliot is the captain of the ship Ramblin' Rose which has been around on the show for years. On the first episode of the season, "Mutiny On The Bering Sea," Elliot and his crew were nowhere to be found.

"In all honesty, I'm kinda not surprised Elliott isn't here this year. I haven't seen him," says Northwestern captain Sig HansenScott Campbell of the Seabrooke adds, "He should be up here. He should already be to go."

"No owner's gonna let a guy run a boat and not produce. You're gonna lose your job," says Hansen.

Neese had a rough season 8 on the show. Not only did he get ripped apart on the high seas but he also reportedly split with his wife Valerie Gunderson whom he shares two children with. She got a restraining order against him.

But according to Neese's Twitter everything is apparently fine with both Valerie and the show. I guess we'll just have to wait patiently to see if he shows up this season.
