Chrissy Teigen And John Legend Expecting Their First Child
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are having a baby!
After several years of trying to get pregnant, the (not so) ordinary people are finally expecting their first child -- and they couldn't be more excited.
Teigen, who is three months along, announced the happy news via Instagram earlier today. She wrote,
John and I are so happy to announce that we are pregnant :) As many of you know, we've been trying to have a baby for awhile now. It hasn't been easy, but we kept trying because we can't wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family. We're so excited that it's finally happening. Thank you for all your love and well wishes. I look forward to all the belly touching! Xx.
Legend and Teigen, who were married in 2013, have long been very vocal about their struggles with fertility.
Earlier this year, Teigen revealed she'd been seeing a fertility specialist and was undergoing IVF in an attempt to help the process along.
I will say, honestly, John and I are having trouble. We would have had kids five, six years ago if it'd happened. But my gosh, it's been a process!
A source close to the beautiful couple told E! News,
Chrissy is feeling great and enjoying every second being pregnant. She is taking good care of her body and making sure her and their baby are healthy and feeling good. John has been a huge support for Chrissy during this time. He could not be more excited until their baby comes into this world.
Of all the couples in Hollywood, Teigen and Legend make up one we're really rooting for — they seem like they'll make wonderful parents.
