This New Trailer For The JonBenét Ramsey Documentary Is The Eeriest Thing

A&E just released the first trailer for "The Killing of JonBenét: The Truth Uncovered" and I'm convinced I'll never be “just OK” ever again. Holy crap.

The documentary is one of two major productions being released this year in honor of the 20th anniversary of Ramsey's death in 1996. Though allegations have been thrown around about who her killer was, most of which seem to surround her parents, there has never been a conviction in the case.

In the trailer you actually hear JonBenét's father comment on this, saying,

We absolutely felt like we were the victim of a lynch mob lead by the media. There's no question that the Boulder Police Department believed we were the killers.

CBS released their trailer for “The Case Of: JonBenét Ramsey” back in August.

While CBS's series seems to be a more long-form investigation series, doing things like calling in experts to rebuild crime scenes, A&E's one-off episode promises to explore new information about the case, including DNA evidence that may point directly to who the murderer may be.

"The Killing of JonBenét: The Truth Uncovered" premieres on September 5 at 9 pm.
