Kim Kardashian's App Subscribers Are Starting To Get Pissed Over Her Silence

Kim Kardashian West has spent the past 10 days far differently than she's spent the past 10 years.

Her October 3 robbery in Paris, during which thieves bound and gagged the 35-year-old and stole around $10 million worth of jewelry and other belongings, influenced her to beef up on security and pare way down on her engagement with the public.

Rather than documenting her every glittering look/move/moment, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star has ceased shooting her show, pulled back from social media and declined, thus far, to comment on the robbery that halted her open-book approach to maintaining the Kardashian empire.

A week and a half without Kim has followers feeling lost without her.

Some of us just genuinely miss her presence, like when the only co-worker you feel secure sharing savage gossip with is out sick for a week.

Others among us consider Kim more of a full-time employee.

Some can't help but analyze the situation from a financial perspective.

And rando dudes online are taking the opportunity to prove they're still the straight-up grossest.

Fans and critics can agree on one thing, though: Taking time offline and out of the spotlight is out of character for the reality star.

For better or worse, we're used to Kimmy being ubiquitous. The time apart is putting us on edge.

After nearly a decade of sharing her life openly with the public, Kim is taking major precautions to ensure her safety and protect her family.

Because she's a real, live human being, not a commodity.

Fans will probably have to live a bit longer without the constant Kardashian content overload we're used to experiencing.

When our girl Kim is finally ready to return, though, we'll be here waiting in the least creepy way possible.
