You Can Buy A Pendant Necklace From Kanye West For Only $13K, So Start Saving Up
Kanye West has released his own line of gold pendants because he is the closest thing to Midas that society will ever actually experience.
The 39-year-old music icon recently announced a partnership with Jacob Arabov (aka, Jacob the Jeweler) to produce a line of gold pendant necklaces. Before you get too excited, just know that these are actual gold pieces, and thus the prices are as comically high as gold tends to be.
So make the decision now: send your future children to college, or buy one of these Kanye necklaces?
West has been working on this collaboration with Arabov for a few months now.
During an interview with Vogue, West said,
I wanted to create something that represented timeless love.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLDDDDDD!
According to Vogue, the jewelry line consists of "sculptural gold rings and heavy chain pendants." They also said,
A collaboration with Jacob the Jeweler's Jacob Arabov, the 12 pieces were inspired by 14th-century Florentine art, such as Donatello's bas-relief portraits, and evoke a certain classical romance.
West has been secretly premiering pieces from the collection over the past few months, using Kim Kardashian's neck as a living display case.
Here, she is wearing one of the pieces to the MTV Video Music Awards back in August 2016.
Getting your hands on some of this Kanye gold isn't going to be a cheap task. The collaboration pieces all run pretty expensive, as gold and Kanye stuff tends to be.
These pieces cost a modest $11,960.
Some of the smaller products do fall in the $1,500 to $3,000 range, while most of them sit somewhere between $10k and a little over $13k.
Sooooooooo, who wants to sponsor some of this stuff for me?
For less than the cost of a brand new Prius, you can help me, a comfortable millennial living in New York, live a life that isn't without Kanye brand gold pieces.

I WANT!
