Theory Says Beyoncé's 'Becky With The Good Hair' Is Kris Jenner
Well, it seems the whole "Becky with the good hair" thing just took an unexpected turn.
Well, you might want to make some room for Kris Jenner on that list.
New details surrounding just who Beyoncé might be referring to on her song "Sorry" are now surfacing. The song features the lyrics,
He only want me when I'm not there, he better call Becky with the good hair.
These particular words sparked endless rumors that Jay Z might have an affair with another woman while married to Beyoncé.
First, people speculated that Beyoncé could have been referring to singer Rita Ora or fashion designer Rachel Roy. After both stars strongly denied the claims, the rumors were put to rest for the time being.
Now, the scenario is bubbling up again after a hairstylist, who has worked with Beyoncé on multiple occasions, spoke out about the rumors.
Hollywood hairstylist Anthony Pazos is saying that Beyoncé's mysterious "Becky" lyrics are about 61-year-old Kris Jenner.
I'll give you some time to let that sink in...
Pazos spoke to Daily Mail about the rumors, revealing,
The rumors while we were working were that the one line 'Becky with the good hair' is Kris Jenner.
Well, that's just not good enough. We're going to need some more to back this theory up, Anthony... This is serious business we're talking about here.
Luckily, Beyoncé's VMAs and Super Bowl hairstylist was everything but shy when talking about the Kris Jenner/Becky rumors.
The hairstylist went on to reveal that he believes Beyoncé was referring to Kris Jenner, but was not referring to any "romantic dealings" between her and Jay Z.
The funny thing about it is that no one believes that because they are like Jenner is older -- why would Jay Z do that?
Exactly! Pazos added,
But if you think about it, it makes perfect sense. In the way that if you were going to be with... someone that they know interpersonally who has the same amount of money that they do, and so that's the 'rumor' that was going around on our production while we were working with Bey. Take what you want from that.
In other words, yes, he believes Kris Jenner is Becky, but he doesn't believe she and Jay had a romantic connection. Instead, he believes that, based on the rumors that circulated while working with Beyoncé, Queen Bey was annoyed by Jay Z's close connection to Kris Jenner on a business level.
The hairstylist then went on to dissect the song lyrics, saying,
Kris does have good hair and 'Becky' always refers to a white woman in the African-American community. Becky is a generic white name for somebody -- a white girl.
Pazos added that Jay Z and Kris Jenner originally became close after Kanye West got in with the Kardashian family.
So, why isn't this rumor totally impossible to believe? Pazos says Kris Jenner has a known history of dating younger men.
I have partied with Kris before, and she's a sweetheart, a loving mother and is very professional and very fun. I have worked with Khloé and Lamar, and I love Khloé to death. The reason why Kris is always with younger guys is because she's still trying to live as if she's younger.
That makes sense, but at the same time, didn't he also say there was NO romantic connection between Jay and Kris?!
In addition to that, everyone know's Kris has been spending plenty of time (two years) with Corey Gamble.
People and their wacky theories... My head hurts.
Still, it's not completely impossible. After all, Kim Kardashian was the very first person to even jokingly allude to Kris Jenner being "Becky."
As for Kris Jenner and her take on these wild rumors? As far as she's concerned, it's all joke -- just like Kim's Snapchat.
An inside source close to Jenner spoke to E! News, saying that the rumors are "news to her" and that anything spoken by Pazos about Jenner is a "joke."
The source went on to say that Pazos is "way outside" the inner circle of the Kardashian-Jenner family.
"Take what you want from that," right?!
