LAPD Visits Adam Levine After Fake Reports He Abused His Infant Daughter
Police are officially dismissing allegations of child abuse against Adam Levine as false.
Apparently, the anonymous source claimed Adam had hit his 1-month-old daughter in the face and pushed his wife to the ground.
The police responded to the tipoff by visiting the couple's home where they found no visible injuries on Behati or the baby.
LAPD's Juvenile Division reportedly told TMZ they have determined the accusation as baseless and are not planning to continue any further investigation on the matter.
Sources close to Adam say he appreciated the LAPD's prompt investigation and fair conclusion.
Adam and Behati welcomed their first child, a baby girl, just a little over three weeks ago.
So far, the only picture we have of her is the one Adam shared on his Instagram a few days after her birth.
(And yes, they really did name her Dusty Rose Levine. And yes, a lot of people made fun of them on Twitter because of that name choice.)
Recently, Adam opened up about his experience as a new dad and confessed he doesn't really know what he's doing.
During an interview with Ryan Seacrest on "On Air With Ryan Seacrest," Adam said,
I've been a parent for three weeks; what do I know? I don't know anything, but it's kind of part of the beauty of it, honestly. There are a lot of instincts, a lot of things that kind of kick in and switch on. It's a beautiful experience.
Behati Prinsloo, meanwhile, recently posted an Instagram stating she had finally left the house for the first time in three weeks, thanks to her mothering duties.
She wrote in the caption,
After three weeks of breastfeeding every three hours, no sleep and nursing my nipples back to life lol, I left the house to see my girls for dinner. Life is so beautiful, can't believe how lucky I got.
Neither she nor Adam has spoken about the investigation as of yet.
