8 Signs You're The Coveted Carrie Bradshaw Of Your Girl Squad

"Sex And The City" is by far one of the most iconic TV series ever. The women in "Sex And The City" taught us everything we needed to know about sex, the city, men and life. The women in the series — Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda — have been #SquadGoals since the late '90s.

These women were strong, powerful and successful. But the best part of all was they always had each other's backs.

However, in every squad, there is always that one person who stands out. She isn't afraid to speak her mind, and at the end of the day, she always keeps the others together and in check. In the case of "Sex And The City," that would be Carrie Bradshaw.

Here are eight ways you are the Carrie of your friend group:

1. You have a serious obsession with shoes.

Shoes are your babies, and the best part about them is they are always well-behaved. Although your shoe collection may not contain a pair of Manolo Blahniks yet, you are definitely working toward it.

2. The thought of working a 9-to-5 job scares you.

Who wants to sit at a desk for eight hours and answer phones, with only one break for lunch? This is why Carrie prefers a freelance job. She is free to work as she pleases.

3. You have that one on-again, off-again relationship.

Carrie's on-again, off-again relationship with Big took an emotional toll on her over the years. It is difficult to just throw a relationship away, especially when you are in love with the person.

The other women — especially Miranda — sometimes had negative opinions about Big making yet another appearance in Carrie's life. Your friends' opinions are all out of love. They have these opinions because they care about you.

4. You never know what you want.

Even when it comes to your shoes, you can never decide on just one pair. When it comes to your men, you are even more confused.

You just can't seem to make a decision without questioning the other option.

5. You always seem to screw things up with the "good" guy.

You have the potential to sabotage your relationship with every guy who comes into your life because you are still hooked on your Big. Although Carrie always felt bad about this, she knew that every sabotage occurred because the "good" one was not the "right" one.

6. You always give great advice about love, dating and sex. Yet, you can't seem to keep a steady, strong relationship of your own.

Your friends come to you for advice about men. You may even have your own column about love and sex for the local paper or a website.

But when it comes to your own relationships, you are a lost cause. You're the one in the group who has always been named the maid of honor of every wedding party. Yet, you've never been that serious with anyone.

7. You have that one bad habit you've been trying really hard to break.

Carrie smoked a pack of cigarettes a day like it was nothing. She knew how bad it was for her. She smoked in the bedroom, the kitchen, the bathroom: basically anywhere. Although she tried to quit a few times, she could never break the bad habit.

8. You could never imagine yourself living anywhere other than the big city.

The suburbs are a completely foreign concept to you. The busy streets and bright lights keep you going every day. Carrie needed the noisy streets to lull her to sleep at night.
