Britney Spears Wrote The Sweetest Mother's Day Letter To Her Sons

I didn't know Mother's Day was a two-way street. I didn't realize mothers could give gifts of their own on the day meant to honor them.

Well, that's just what TIME had some well-known mothers do. The magazine published letters written from famous mothers to their children.

It's an interesting collection of authors including Ivanka Trump, daughter of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, the mayor of Baltimore, Amber Rose, Lisa Vanderpump, Laila Ali, Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo and Britney Spears.

All of the letters were amazing in one way or another, but Spears' letter to her sons, Jayden and Preston, was among the most touching and beautiful. From reading her letter, you immediately understand her love for children.

She encouraged them to do anything, and in reading her letter, you might feel weirdly empowered as though Spears was speaking to you.

According to TIME, Spears wrote,

If they didn't already know, now Jayden and Preston know how much their mother loves them and believes in them. I hope they somehow arranged for something for their mom because if this letter is any indication of anything, it's that Britney Spears is one mother who deserves something nice.
