Aidan Gillen Of 'Game of Thrones' Is Having Some Trouble Covering His Irish Accent

by Veronica Grossman

Actors have the incredible ability to alter their voices, accents and sometimes even appearances, to portray the characters they do onscreen.

This is especially true with HBO's "Game of Thrones," which features an array of actors speaking in accents they don't actually have. Or, that's supposed to be the case, but Aidan Gillen is having some difficulties covering his.

Gillen, who plays Petyr Baelish, aka Littlefinger, hails from Ireland, and his accent seems to be changing from season to season. In fact, he seems to be sounding more and more Irish on screen.

Here is a video of Gillen's accent through the seasons. Do you hear it?
