Tory & Chris Burch Put Their Law Suit Aside

by Ally Batista

The most vicious, and to be honest, hysterically entertaining fashion feud of 2012 has come to an end, ringing in the New Year with less drama in the court room.

Tory and Chris Burch, former spouses, have reached a legal agreement to their long-winded lawsuit, which was initiated by Chris Burch, in regards to the sale of his stake in ex-wife’s company, Tory Burch.

The agreement details have been kept under wraps, but it is known that Chris Burch still owns his own stake in Tory Burch, in addition to two new investors being brought into the company: BDT Capital Partners LLC and General Atlantic LLC.

For those of you who forgot, the lawsuit consisted of the following: Chris accusing Tory of ‘tortuous interference with the sale process’ of his stake in the company for a fair price, along with a breach of contract.

Tory denied all claims and countersued for the strikingly similar similarities with Chris Burch’s new company C.Wonder, to her own company, Tory Burch.
