Rodarte x Starbucks

High/low fashion collaborations have been a huge trend over the past few years, but I never thought I’d see the day when a luxury designer would collaborate with a company that is in no way related to fashion.
No disrespect to Starbucks of course, I am the Coffee Queen after all. It’s just an odd combination. Kate and Laura Mulleavy (the Rodarte Designers) aided in designing a collection of limited-edition gift cards, tote bags, cup sleeves and mugs for the coffee empire.
This is Starbucks' first designer collaboration and it’s set to hit stores November 13th: just in time for the holidays. Now that I’m thinking about it… this could be a genius idea.
