Coworker Tries Setting Up Woman In Office To Be Raped By Impersonating Her Online

by Katie Gonzalez

In one case of a crazy coworker from hell, Joanne Berry (30) tried to get her officemate raped by impersonating her in online sex chatrooms.

Berry claimed she was her coworker on websites like Cougar Shag, and tried to convince men that she was into "role play" and wanted "to create some sort of rape scenario."

At one point, Berry, a temp worker at her office, told a man identified as Dean Hicks to break into her house and rape her, leaving the coworker's address.

Although a few men did attempt to break into the unwitting woman's house and attack her, the coworker was luckily not assaulted.

Thankfully apprehended before anything could happen to her female acquaintance, Berry appeared in court today on four different charges, where prosecutors argued that she was clearly mentally unstable, but still at fault.

"How did she do it? She went on various sex chat websites. She pretended she was [the victim], she gave [the victim's] address, she used her name, she gave the registration of her car which was going to be parked outside, pretended to be her.

"She then told the men to come round and engage in a fantasy rape game with her, basically to rape her."

Berry befriended her coworker by confiding that she was a victim of rape. But after her new friend reported this to the police, they stated that the claim was false and "attention seeking," which caused a falling out.
