Splurge vs. Save: Gold Trousers

One of the most classic holiday colors is gold. Gold adds a regal and luxurious feel to almost any article of clothing, and recently, I can’t get enough of gold trousers.

It’d be difficult to incorporate a gold trouser into everyday wear (what am I kidding, no it wouldn’t be), but gold trousers would be an excellent conversation piece for the months of December and January.

This pair of Haider Ackerman high-waisted wool and silk-blend skinny pants is actually on sale via net-a-porter.com for $710.50. Definitely an investment piece, but I’m almost certain these trousers will last you through many seasons.

I’m literally entranced by these Gold Jacquard Trousers from Topshop. For only $100, you can have these intricately patterned, premium tailored cigarette trousers. I would wear these absolutely anywhere.
