We all remember our preteen years, when getting our period was like entering an exclusive club that we would do anything to be a member of. I remember the first time I had to ask a girl in my class if she had a tampon. I felt so mature that I secretly felt like I was ready to get preggers (thank god I didn’t pursue that one.)
