A New York dermatologist, Neal Schultz, M.D., author of the book It’s Not Just About Wrinkles: A Park Avenue Dermatologist’s Program for Beautiful Skin—in Just Four Minutes a Day is saying that women need to spend more time applying eye creams and paying attention to the skin under their eyes.
“The skin of the eye are is very different from most of the skin of the rest of he face. It’s thinner, more sensitive and has fewer oil and water glands, so it needs more moisturization. And while you can use your facial moisturizer there, it may not be rich enough.” Says Neal.
So because of this, we should all start investing in eye creams that will help prevent wrinkles, treat any you may already have and moisturize your under eye area. Neal suggests using a product that contains a less than one percent of glycolic acid, peptides and moisturizers like glycerin, urea or hyaluronic acid.
