Drugstore Beauty Products: The Colossal Cat Eyes Mascara

I have to be honest; I’m a huge fan of drugstore mascaras. In my earnest opinion, there’s not much more an extra $20 will do for your eyelashes, so why splurge on a designer brand, for something that works just as well?

I’ve experimented with countless drugstore mascara brands, and I swear that I’ve just found the most perfect one. The Volum’ Express Colossal Cat Eyes Mascara from Maybelline New York is my new favorite mascara, ever.

Seriously, go out and purchase this product immediately. I was initially drawn to the product based off the packaging (typical) and was sold by the mascara wand. The bristles are jagged and randomly distributed (giving the bristles a ‘claw’ feel) on a curved wand tip.

One stroke of this mascara separates every lash and gives you an amazing lash curl. After a few swipes, it looks like you’re wearing false lashes.  Who wouldn’t want that? Maybe it’s the collagen formula, or maybe it’s the wand. Who knows? All I know is that I’m using this product from here on out.
