Young Fan Interrupts The Knicks Game To Hug Carmelo Anthony On The Court

Well, this Carmelo Anthony video is the cutest, most depressing thing ever.

It's cute for obvious reasons. During the New York Knicks basketball game in New Orleans against the Pelicans last night, this kid left his parent's presence in the crowd and raced past security, risking it all to get a hug from Melo.

Awww.

It's depressing, too, for less obvious but still pertinent reasons. Let's face it, if this was anyone other than a child, arena security would bring out "WrestleMania" moves six days early to tackle the intruder.

But because he's a kid, he gets an, "All right, son, back to your seat."

If anything, this episode shows how much it sucks to be an adult. You have to pay bills, wake up at the same time every day, fill out forms you don't understand all the time and, most of all, you can't even run on the court -- and potentially endanger other athletes in the process -- to embrace your favorite player.

Child privilege, I tell ya.
