Tom Brady's $50 Vegan Snack Packs Are Already Sold Out
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is a wealthy man, and if his diet and fitness endeavor, TB12, is any indication, he's about to become a whole lot richer.
By the end of the 2015 NFL season, the 39-year-old four-time Super Bowl champion had earned roughly $163 million in salary alone. Now, it appears Tom Brady is selling vegan snack packs for a retail price of $50 each.
Yes, that seems ridiculously expensive for a bag of snacks, but according to ESPN, TB12 Snacks, which are "raw, vegan, organic, gluten-free and dairy-free," sold out in one day.
You'll recall a similar story about Tom Brady back in May, when he published a "Nutritional Manual" that retailed for $200 and also sold out rather quickly.
So, either everyone's an idiot or Brady is only manufacturing like six of each of these items.
Now, to the burning question on everyone's mind: What the hell is in a pack of TB12 Snacks?
According to the TB12 website, there are six different varieties of the vegan snack packs:
-Blueberry Crunch: A combination of familiar and exotic ingredients packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and phytonutrients. (1.4 oz each.) -Amazon Crunch: A combination of the best the rainforest has to offer in a tasty, easy-to-eat, nutrient-packed crunch. (1.4 oz each.) -Superfood Energy Squares: A delicious, healthy, energy-sustaining square, packed with nutrient-dense superfoods. A great pre- & post-workout snack. (1.75 oz each.) -Cacao Goji Energy Squares: A great pre- & post-workout snack with energy-sustaining dates, antioxidant-rich cacao, and nutrient-dense fruits & nuts. (1.75 oz each.) -Dark Cocoa Coconut: A simple combination of antioxidant-rich dark chocolate and coconut: a tasty, healthy alternative to traditional sweet snacks. (1.4 oz each.) -Buffalo Almonds & Ranch Cashews: A classic flavor combination reinterpreted with healthy, nutrient-rich almonds and vitamin & mineral-rich cashews. (1.4 oz each.)
Well, there you have it, folks. This is what $50 gets you nowadays -- when said item is available, that is.
