This Selfie Of The Simones Meeting After Their Gold Wins Is An Instant Classic

Simone Biles and Simone Manuel killed it on Thursday.

Biles won her individual all-around competition in gymnastics, basically confirming what you, me and Zac Efron already knew: She's a straight up boss and the best gymnast in the world if not history.

Manuel made history in the pool.

She became the first African-American woman to win an individual medal in swimming.

So yeah, they're both super lit and super poppin' and they made their names golden.

But no celebration of the Simones means anything if the Simones themselves don't get together to acknowledge each other's greatness. Luckily for everyone who can't get enough of them, it looks like they did just that.

This isn't the first time the two women met, though. The Simones first hooked up in March, when they were at the Team USA Olympic summit in LA, which brought together over 100 Olympic athletes.

So it looks like they were fans of each other for a long time, which looks especially safe to say considering they're both from Houston (which explains the "Texas girls rock!").

So yeah, not only are the record breaking marvels, but they're friends, too.

They're perfect.
