Mayweather Refuses To Rematch Pacquiao, Says He's Being A 'Sore Loser'

by Adam Silvers

Well, it looks like there won't be a rematch between Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Manny Pacquiao after all -- not this week, at least.

After initially saying he'd be open to a rematch with Pacquiao, Mayweather surprisingly pulled a complete 180.

In an interview with Jim Gray, the "Fight of the Century" winner said,

Did I text Stephen A. Smith and say I will fight him again? Yeah, but I change my mind. At this particular time, no, because he's a sore loser and he's a coward… If you lost, accept the loss and say, 'Mayweather, you were the better fighter.'

Earlier this week, Money May also brushed off Pac-Man's shoulder injury by saying, “excuses, excuses, excuses.”

Call me crazy, but this fight will probably be on again, off again for the next 12 months.
