Men's Field Hockey Team Strips Naked To Combat Homophobia In Sports

by Gillian Fuller

Getting naked to support a cause seems to be the hottest new trend among college-age English males.

The University of Nottingham's field hockey team seems to have taken inspiration from the Naked Rowing Team, as the players recently stripped down to stand up against homophobia in athletics. (The Naked Rowing team supports a similar cause through its charity, Sports Allies.)

Once in their birthday suits, the University of Nottingham athletes played a round of field hockey, which the university's Film Making Society then filmed and edited into a PSA.

The video is edited so there's no real nudity, but you will see a lot of hockey-toned man butts -- so we'd advise against watching this at work.

You should, however, enjoy it (on repeat) in the comfort of your own home.

The stunt was organized by Voice Your Rights, an organization on campus that focuses on human rights issues.
