To be frank, I'm shocked table tennis is an actual sport.
I don't mean that in a disrespectful way, either. I mean it in an I-can't-believe-there-are-athletes-who-can-actually-do-this way.
Like, the ball moves stupidly fast within such a small space. And it's being thrust back and forth via wooden paddles.
The type of hand-eye coordination needed to actually win is ridiculous.
In short, it's a really fast-paced game, so you can bet when this happened, neither of the competitors saw it coming.
