Sports Anchor Reminds Us Lamar Odom Is Not A 'Kardashian Reality Star' (Video)

At the moment, two-time NBA champion Lamar Odom is unconscious in a Nevada hospital bed and fighting for his life.

Make no mistake about it, the Queens, New York native is a former NBA star who became famous as a result of hard work, skill and dedication.

Lamar didn't gain the spotlight after he hooked up with Khloé Kardashian, and to call him a "Kardashian reality star" is appalling, diluted and unbelievably disrespectful.

Yesterday, veteran "SportsCenter" anchor Scott Van Pelt spoke out on Odom's behalf, reminding everyone to look at a person's life in its entirety, not to use someone's last stop as the point of title and judgment.
