Video Of A Woman's Incredible Water Birth Will Make You Weirdly Emotional

Normally, when I watch something online, my reactions are completely internal.

Even if it's hilarious, I barely laugh out loud. You won't see much of a reaction from me.

Meanwhile, this video of a woman's water birth made me visibly tear up.

It starts with the new mom and dad in the tub together, both ready in birthing position. She holds a mirror below her giant belly, and you can hear soft music playing in the background.

Midwife Lisa Marie Sanchez Oxenham tells the mom she'll take the mirror, but the mom says, "I want to see."

Holding a mirror directly under your vagina to watch your baby come out seems a little unnecessary, but in this situation, it just showed how excited this new mom was to meet her baby boy.

When she's ready to push, she puts her hands under her belly and seems to experience only a little bit of pain before pushing. You can hear her midwife saying, "You got this."

She takes a few quick, short breaths, bears down and catches her baby in her own hands.

All it took was one push. Wow.

She immediately places him on her chest and holds him as he cries. She also starts crying while hugging her new baby. I seriously couldn't handle the joy of this emotional, happy moment.

If only every birthing situation could be this calm. I mean, it didn't even seem like it hurt.

All I can say is, there's a half-empty box of tissues on my desk. This short video made me feel more things than Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston's recent breakup.

I don't know anything at all about the business of being a midwife, but I'm sure a video like this could really help Sanchez Oxenham get some more clients.
