Contrary to popular belief, summer doesn't have to end when the cooler weather hits -- and Starbucks gets it. Regardless of the season, Starbucks' new Piña Colada Tea Infusion is the menu's latest permanent fixture that will provide beach vibes all year long. The bathing suit might be replaced with a winter coat, but the taste of summer will always be available.

The new drink, which was released on July 24, is here to comfort customers, rain or shine. The latest creamy and refreshing offering is a combination of Teavana black tea, pineapple fruit and botanical blend, and coconut milk. It's currently available nationwide on Starbucks' year-round menu, and you can order a small for $3.25.

The Piña Colada Tea Infusion joins the menu on the heels of other exciting tea news for Starbucks fans. Three new tea flavors -- Teavana Shaken Iced Pineapple Black Tea Infusion, Teavana Shaken Iced Strawberry Green Tea Infusion, and Teavana Shaken Iced Peach Citrus Tea Infusion -- have also made their way to permanent status, so fans don't need to look much further for a little sunshine.

Luckily, since the four Teavana drinks are available all year, there's no need to choose between one fruit or another. In fact, Starbucks actually encourages its patrons to discover their own berry concoctions.

The baristas suggest either asking for drinks to be unsweetened or substituting tea for lemonade, another summer go-to. If you're really looking to get creative, there's also the option to mix the tea blends.

“Strawberry white tea, Peach citrus black tea, Pineapple green tea, strawberry Passion Tango tea, the possibilities are endless,” the company said in a statement.

We're willing to bet that the back-to-school ads and the end-of-summer sales have you a bit frightened that the best time of year is on its way out. But don't sweat it: Starbucks totally has you covered. You'll be able to get into the spirit of the season whenever your heart desires, even if it's just for five minutes.

Plus, it tastes delicious.
