Khloé Kardashian Reveals The Meanings Behind The Cryptic Quotes She Posts

Khloé Kardashian has been known to post some of the most cryptic quotes on the Internet. So much so, the Oxford English Dictionary has considered officially adding the phrase "Kryptik Khloé Kwotes."

Just kidding, it hasn't done that... yet.

Turns out, there's a method to the madness. In a recent subscription-only blog post, she revealed the thinking that goes behind her notoriously vague Instagram quotes -- or rather, the lack thereof. As the 31-year-old pop culture icon explained in her latest post,

One of the biggest misconceptions about me is that the quotes I post on Instagram are deep insights into my problems. I don't only post quotes when I'm going through something. Quotes are allowed to move you and make you feel a certain way—it doesn't mean that you even have to have experienced what the quote is referencing.

Specifically, she mentioned the quote she posted back in December that everyone assumed must have been about Lamar Odom or her baby bro, Rob Kardashian. We're talking about this one if you need a little refresher:

I posted this quote after I found myself being unkind in my thoughts and words. Kourtney and I went to the gym together and saw someone we knew. This person didn't acknowledge us, so Kourt and I started talking sh*t. When we realized we didn't say hi either, I knew we were being petty! Maybe that person was in a bad mood, and that's OK … It definitely bothers me when someone is trying to chat when I'm in a bad mood. I wish I could say, 'Can you just give me a minute?' but sometimes it feels rude to ask for space. This experience got me thinking that we all just need to be a little more understanding and kind to one another. You never know what kind of hard sh*t someone might be going through.

So, there you have it, folks. The quotes are intentionally vague so we can fill in the blanks with our own interpretation -- aka speculate some serious drama. But hey, isn't that the way we like it?
