This Guy's Collage Of His Wife's Goofy Texts Defines Married Life

by Gillian Fuller

In this day and age, a relationship is perhaps best measured by the contents of the couple's text message history. Specifically: The weirder the texts, the stronger the relationship.

This is definitely true for David Van Beveren and his wife, who often exchange goofy, silly, and sometimes, downright bizarre messages with one another.

After receiving a particularly odd text that read, “I'M A KOALA!,” David decided to compile his wife's messages into one hilarious collage telling the story of their marriage.

He told BuzzFeed,

I'd receive random texts or just funny texts in general during conversations we'd have together and figured it would be neat to go post a year's worth of noteworthy texts for our friends to see.

But when he posted the collage to Reddit, it reached eyes far beyond his friend group. In less than 24 hours, more than 655,000 people have seen the sweet text assembly.

Of the post's now-viral status, David says,

Reddit can be overwhelming sometimes, but [my wife] loved the positive comments and loved the fact that she was able to make some people laugh.

Welcome to love in the 21st century, everybody.

Take a look at the collage, below.
