What would you do if you saw an innocent fawn drowning?

Some people would go into full panic mode, while others would become full on superheroes -- like this golden retriever, Storm.

Storm, a pup from Long Island, is a new furry super hero who is currently taking over social media timelines everywhere. During a casual beach day with his owner, Mark Freeley, Storm happened to spot a fawn drowning in the water.

Instead of just standing by and waiting for someone to do something about it, Storm went into action and jumped into the water. He swam toward the helpless fawn and tried to bring it out of the current himself.

"Good boy Storm, good boy Storm," you can hear Freely cheer as the dog comes onto shore with the fawn in his mouth.

Storm stayed by the fawn gently licking and pushing it, making sure the weak creature was still alive.

The heroic video was posted on Facebook by Freeley on July 16, and the video already has more than 3 million views and thousands of retweets, likes, and comments on Twitter.

"We don't deserve dogs."

Some users don't understand why Freeley didn't jump in to help...

... but they were quickly shut down.

Other users are even suggesting Storm should get into politics.

It seems like some of the leaders in Washington D.C. should take note.

CBS News reports Freeley and Storm stayed with the exhausted fawn until a vet arrived to help. The fawn is expected to make a full recovery.

One thing that won't recover, however, is my heart... because this story is so touching and I definitely won't bounce back from it.

If humans were as selfless and heroic as Storm, this world would be a completely different place.

I mean, Storm didn't care the fawn was a different species, he just cared about saving a fellow animal and that's inspirational.
