Frat Amazingly Gives Away Free Concert Tickets Taylor Swift Gave Them

by Taylor Ortega

Taylor Swift is famous for keeping a close online relationship with fans. So, it was hardly a surprise when she awarded two tickets to attend her concert to each member of an entire fraternity after the guys' single-take lip-dub video for “Shake It Off” went viral.

Brothers of Delta Sigma Phi's Beta Mu chapter at Transylvania University (located in Kentucky and NOT, as I assumed, nestled beside the majestic Carpathian Mountains in Central Romania) decided to use their viral fame and its rewards to benefit others.

Member Barton Lynch told WKYT,

We all got two tickets so we all thought 'this is just a gift and it would be a shame not to do something good with it.'

Rather than invite dates along to the show, the guys donated their plus-ones to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lexington.

A young member of the mentor organization, Nevaeh Coney, shared,

I was happy… It was my first time going to a concert.

The brothers seem to have some major charitable instincts. When the video first started picking up traction, the greek organization raised money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through its YouTube channel.
