You're Not Going To Like This Major Change Facebook Just Made To Your Profile

Facebook did that thing where it changes how your profile looks without telling you it was going to do it.

Now, the ambiguous box on the left side of your profile shows all your bio information.

Like, all of it.

So if you're someone like me, who apparently listed all that information about previous work and living spaces but totally forgot I did that, all that information is now readily available for anybody who happens to peruse your page.

Here's how mine looks, with info blocked out:

I haven't spent the requisite 35 minutes to figure out how to hide this information, so for right now, it's just all out in the open. But apparently, all it takes is going into the editing box and messing around with a hundred different options for displaying information.

Facebook, you are, oh, so great. I love how you show off the information we provide you.

The new profile changes do not display anything you previously marked as private, so at least you don't have to worry about that.

But, if you're like me, it's definitely a stark reminder of just how much information we freely provide this company. Anyway, I'm going to go delete everything off my profile now. Bye!
